A new way of thinking about soybean meal – its impact on swine respiratory disease and, specifically, PRRSv mortality

With new strains and the prevalence of PRRSV increasing, swine veterinarians are constantly on the hunt for effective management tools. Guest Dr. Paul Yeske discusses his presentation at the 2026 annual AASV meeting focused on research that reveals the mitigating effects of soybean meal bioactive compounds on respiratory disease and their ability to improve immune function and viability of PRRSv-infected pigs.
